Limited spaces to keep the weekend small, calm and personal
There was a time when time together felt easier
Before the rush of daily life
Before screens, schedules, and everything in between
When connection happened naturally
When conversations flowed
When time together felt simple
Somewhere along the way, that changed
Life got busy
Days filled up
And those moments became harder to find
This weekend is about creating that space again
A chance to slow everything down
To spend real, uninterrupted time together
To talk
To laugh
To just be
Not rushing
Not distracted
Just… together
To help you decide if this weekend workshop is the right fit, here is a clear snapshot of the key details and who it is for
This weekend is about creating space to reconnect
Time away from the busyness of everyday life
Time without distractions pulling you in different directions
A chance to slow everything down and just be together
To talk
To listen
To understand each other again
No pressure
No expectations
Just real time, shared together
Over the weekend, you’ll experience:
Gentle, shared moments designed to bring you closer
Time in nature, away from everyday noise
Space for real conversations without interruption
Creative and relaxed time side by side
Campfire evenings filled with laughter and connection
Nothing forced
Nothing overwhelming
Just a natural space for connection to happen
This weekend is for mums and daughters aged between 8–14
For those who:
Feel like time together has become rushed or distracted
Want to reconnect before the teenage years fully take over
Miss those easy moments of just being together
Want to create memories that actually last
Feel that quiet pull to spend more meaningful time together
🌿 WHAT YOU’LL TAKE AWAY FROM THIS WEEKEND
This weekend isn’t about what you make
It’s about what you feel
Over the course of the weekend, you’ll take away something far more valuable than anything physical
A chance to properly reconnect
Time that actually felt meaningful
Moments of laughter, ease, and understanding
You’ll leave with:
A deeper sense of closeness with each other
Conversations you haven’t had time for before
Shared memories that stay with you
A feeling of calm, connection, and space
Time that wasn’t rushed or distracted
And something even more important…
The reminder of how good it feels to simply be together
Sometimes, it’s not that anything is wrong
It’s just that life gets busy
Days fill up
Conversations get shorter
Time together becomes something you’ll “do later”
And before you know it, that closeness you had starts to feel a little further away
This weekend is a chance to pause
And come back to each other
Surrounded by meadow and woodland, it naturally slows everything down
The space, the air, the rhythm of the land all invite you to breathe a little deeper and come back to what matters
Over the weekend, you’ll be invited into simple, meaningful experiences you can share together
Gentle forest school style activities
Creative crafting sessions
Time to explore, wander, and discover
Moments of connection designed to bring you closer without pressure or expectation
Evenings soften into something really special
The fire crackling as the light begins to fade
Wrapping up in blankets as the air cools
Hot chocolate warming your hands
Sitting side by side, not needing to rush anywhere or be anywhere else
Toasting marshmallows, making s’mores, laughing over sticky fingers and melted chocolate
Those little moments that seem simple, but stay with you forever
Looking over and seeing your child relaxed, open, just being themselves
Feeling that quiet closeness that’s so easy to lose in the busyness of everyday life
This will be one of those weekends you both remember years from now.

You’ll have your own bell tent to share, with proper beds and bedding so you can fully relax
All meals, snacks and drinks are included, so you don’t need to think about anything other than being present
And just as important as what’s offered is what isn’t
There’s no pressure to do it all
No rigid schedule you have to stick to
No expectationsYou can join in as much or as little as you like#
This is your time, your pace, your weekend together
Whether that looks like sitting side by side chatting, laughing over something small, or simply enjoying the quiet of being together in nature
This retreat is about creating space for the kind of connection that often gets lost in busy, everyday life
£550 for you and your child
All inclusive weekend on our land in South West Wales
If you can feel how much this is needed, not just wanted, then this space has been created for you
By the end of the weekend, most people leave feeling:
Closer
Calmer
More connected
Not because anything was forced
But because they finally had the time to just be together
We move gently, but with intention
There is space to settle, space to play, space to feel, and space to integrate
You’re welcome to arrive from 2pm on Friday, giving you time to arrive, unpack, and ease into the land at your own pace
We begin together at 4pm
There’s no rush
Just space to breathe before we begin.
Saturday is a full day, but it never feels overwhelming
The morning begins slowly with breakfast together, followed by a gentle parent and child pamper session
A hands-on, shared experience where children get to care for their parents or carers, and you get to do the same in return
There’s something quietly powerful in that exchange
Being seen
Being cared for
Laughing, connecting, softening together
Throughout the day, there’s a blend of simple, meaningful activities and space to just be
Time to explore the woodland
Time to sit and chat
Time to play, create, and reconnect in your own way
Nothing is forced
Everything is an invitation
As the evening arrives, we gather again
The fire crackling as the light fades
Hot chocolate warming your hands
Toasting marshmallows, making s’mores, and laughing over the little moments
These are the memories that stay
Sunday begins slowly, with a relaxed breakfast together and time to enjoy the final morning side by side
No rushing
Just space to soak it all in
We then move into a gentle, shared activity you can do together
A lighthearted treasure hunt through the woodland, inviting you to explore, laugh, and enjoy those final moments of connection
Simple, playful, and often the moments that end up meaning the most
There’s time for one last wander, one last chat, one last pause together before the weekend comes to a close
We then gather for a gentle closing circle
A space to reflect, to notice what’s shifted, and to take that feeling of closeness home with you
Leaving not just with memories, but with a deeper connection that carries on long after the weekend ends
We keep our weekends small, relaxed and heart-led so you and your child can simply be together.
No pressure, no rushing, no expectations… just time to reconnect, breathe, and find your way back to each other.
Here are a few words from the parents who’ve joined us before.
“My child had had a difficult year and we rarely got time together in a non-pressured environment.
I felt very welcome, there’s such a relaxed feeling and no pressure to attend anything they didn’t want to.
Since being home, they’re so much more open with me… and I’ve realised we can just be us, without trying to fit into what a parent and child relationship ‘should’ look like.
My child loved the whole experience.”
“It was a lovely way to connect, enjoying the woods, nature and being free.”
“There were lots of things for the children to explore and play, and also time to just be together.
It felt like a relaxing, free trip… an amazing opportunity to just be and not have to rush with my child.”
“We attended last year and had the most wonderful time.
The setting was beautiful, and the camping felt like such a special experience.
The activities struck the perfect balance between organised fun and relaxed free play, and it was such a treat to have that space together.
But more than anything, it was the uninterrupted time together that made it so special… time to reconnect, learn, and make memories we’ll always hold onto.
Spending that time together helped us realise how important it is to have dedicated time just the two of us, and we’ve promised each other that we’ll continue to make space for it.
The form should take about 2 minutes to fill in
Once you submit, you’ll be prompted to make a payment to secure your spots.
Thinking of joining us but still have a few questions?
That’s completely normal… most people do before they book.
Here are some of the things we get asked the most, to help you feel clear and comfortable before you come
This is one of the most common worries.
The weekend is designed so there’s no pressure to join in with everything. Some girls dive straight in, others take their time, and both are completely okay.
Often it’s the shared space, the little moments, and just being together that end up meaning the most.
You’re not alone in that.
Many parents and carers come because they can feel a bit of distance creeping in. This isn’t about forcing anything — it’s about creating the space for connection to come back naturally.
Your accommodation, all activities, and all meals are included.
So once you arrive, everything is taken care of — you can just focus on being together.
All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you cancel or do not attend for any reason, you will not receive a refund, so we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance.
If we have to cancel the workshop, you will be offered a transfer to another event or a credit voucher to use at a future event.
You and your child will be staying in a 5m Bell Tent all to yourselves.
Inside your bell tent are proper single beds and all bedding, rugs and lights.
There’s a gentle flow to the weekend, with activities you can join, but also plenty of free time.
You can take part in everything, or step back and just spend time together — it’s completely up to you
Yes.
You’ll have your own bell tent just for you and your child, so you’ve got that cosy, private space alongside the shared experience.
The retreat is designed for children aged 6–16.
It’s that in-between stage where connection can start to shift, and this weekend helps gently support that.
That’s absolutely okay.
There’s no pressure to speak, share, or join in before they are ready. The space is gentle and welcoming, and children tend to settle in their own time.
As our children grow, life gets busier, and those moments together become fewer and further between.
This weekend gives you that time back.
Time to reconnect, laugh, talk, and simply be together again
Limited spaces to keep the weekend calm, personal and supportive
